I have been a speech-language pathologist since 2012 and have worked in a variety of settings ranging from acute care to schools. I always say that I am blessed to be in this career that allows me to work with so many different populations and in so many different capacities.

While working in the schools, I noticed a constant growth of the district's special education numbers while at the same time there being a continued shortage of speech-language pathologists to meet those demands, especially in rural areas. It became my passion to help bridge that ever-growing gap by providing contracted speech services.

Since becoming a mom, I learned the frustrations and challenges mothers face when navigating infant feeding and development. I was thankful I was able to apply my background knowledge as an SLP to assist with the feeding journey, but it was through my own breastfeeding struggles that I was inspired to become a certified breastfeeding specialist.

My expertise extends to other topics like bilingualism and how to properly diagnose and treat speech and language disorders of English/Spanish speakers.
